Giving thanks

“Be present in all things and thankful for all things.” ~Maya Angelou~

Normally I would blog on Tuesday but of course I couldn’t let the day go by without popping in a saying Happy Thanksgiving to all in our corner of the world here in Canada.

I’m thankful for so very much and for those that know me know that I have had faced health challenges and I am so thankful to have come out the other side of them time and time again.  I truly have learned how to be thankful for each day and for what and who comes my way along my daily travels.  Having said that…

Thank you to my family for being you and for being supportive over the years of my decisions both personally and in business.  Having such a wide diverse range of family relationships it’s interesting how over the years those relationships change, not so much change but grow as we grow. For those that are estranged and particularly for those no longer here in this life I am grateful for you and the corner of my life and heart that you have touched and will always hold a part of.

Thank you to my friends who accept me for who I am, my idiosyncrasies and all.  Your support and strength and being a constant in my life is the most amazing thing a gal could for.  There are many that live near and far with whom I don’t get near enough face time or chat time with but just a reminder that you are amazing and I am grateful for you.   I  love that we can pick  p where we left off no matter how much time has passed and it warms my heart to know you are always there for me.

Thank you to you my readers for supporting me on this new journey in the wonderful world of blogging.  I know this will be a cathartic journey as well one filled with self exploration and along the way hopefully many reminders of what I am to be thankful for.

Today I am simply thankful for a great day with a friend and her crew joining myself and the girls for a trail hike.
