Best-laid plans of mice and men oft(en) go astray

……..and best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men gang aft a-gley.

Prov. Things often go wrong even though you have carefully planned what you are going to do. (McGraw-Hill Dictionary of American Idioms and Phrasal Verb)

That’s pretty much my thought process surrounding my intentions to blog and not having done so since Halloween.  My apologies to all; life’s interference took me off the grid for a bit and with it I fell off the blog boat.

This gave me pause to think about so many of the parents and families I work with out there that overcome life’s hiccups on a daily bases and still plug on.  I once said to a mom of 4 (all under 5 years of age) that I don’t know how she does it and she simply said “you just do” .  So true and matter of fact and I found myself revisiting that a few times as of late.  Clearly it carries a different context in my life as I’m not chasing little wonders hither and yawn. 🙂  None the less no matter what comes our way we really do need to draw on our inner strength, humor, faith, friends, family or whatever else we can tap into so that at the end of the end of each day “you just do” what needs to be done.  So I’m a little late blogging and playing catch up on several things but at the end of the days it’s all good.

So no worries just remember that ultimately at some point it’ll get done because….

Sorry I couldn’t refuse the cheesy poster!
