A great gift idea!!

This is one of those things that I’ll never forget as I was so touched when a client sent it to me.  It’s a great fun little craft to make with your little one and give it to someone they love a special occasion or just because.  It’s the American Sign Language sign for “I Love You”

At the dollar store you can buy the little foam pieces and a small piece of craft or or colored paper

So on the foam just trace your child’s hand and then cut it/them out.  It’s great for ones a bit older as well because they can do it with you and school age kids love it!  Ok so….cut out the hands and then take the ring finger and middle finger and turn them over and add a tiny bit of glue to make them stick that way.

While waiting for that to dry cut your craft paper so it’s a square., and turn the paper so when facing it, it appears as a diamond shape.

When the hands have dried you can put a spot of glue on the backside of them and glue them to the center of the paper.

Then above them you can write your message an if they are old enough have them sign it.

Turn the four corner to the middle and tape it closed; there’s your envelope. 🙂

Have fun!

Thanks Jen, James and Issy for the great gift!!
